CBS News Article about my foster care involvement. This led to attending a luncheon at the Missouri Capitol to honor those who have made a difference in the lives of the defenseless through foster care awareness, reform, and advocacy. I have also spoken to the Kansas Senate regarding reforms in foster care.

I was featured on both of “Terrrible, Thanks for Asking” and “This is Actually Happening” to explain to you lucky neurotypicals what OCD is actually like. This will be helpful if you are experiencing OCD symptoms or have a child who is experiencing the same.

On top of having fostered 73 children of all different backgrounds in the KC area, I have taught for 11 years in the K-12 setting, rural and urban, specifically dealing with Special Education, Mental Health and Behavioral Issues. I am currently licensed as a Special Education Teacher in both Kansas and Iowa.
